Casting Call 

Xueye is a very soft, kindhearted man with a lot of misfortune and trauma in his past that very much haunts him. He is the heir to the Meigui Trading Company and should have inherited it some time ago but his greedy father refuses to hand the company over.

The Emperor’s face has rarely been seen by the general public, thus he’s able to sneak out of the palace quite often and experience life as a normal person. He’s normally calm and rational and knowledgeable about much. However his draconic blood often makes him irritable and over protective of those he cares about, often making him emotional when it affects him.

Shizhe is a sweet and bubbly fortune teller of extraordinary talent. She can get quite feisty when she’s upset about something or someone mistreats those she cares for. Often in public or doing business she will put on the impression of a prim and proper lady of the court but with those she’s close to she will just be herself and drop formalities. Shizhe often carries the weight of the future on her shoulders as she tries to keep everyone safe.

A very straightforward stern woman in charge of law and acts as a judge for major cases. She’s immensely clever and can almost always determine the guilty at a single glance of the case. She often mumbles about how unfair things can be especially to Riluo or Shizhe. While she comes across as stern when she’s around those she cares for she is quite soft and always willing to give advice.

Riluo is Yushi’s most loyal attendant, essentially his right hand man. He’s diligent and clever. Able to find any information Yushi might require. When it comes to work he’s quite serious and often ends up exhausted with a tendency to overwork himself. Outside of work he’s very sweet and always wants to help. As a close friend to Yushi he tends to tease him quite often. He is very silent when he moves, often able to sneak up on even Yushi with his enhanced senses.

A pretentious cold man, he married into the Meigui family for the name and fortune that came with it. He married into the Meigui Family taking the family name so that he had potential claim to the company. He’s a shrewd business man that comes across as rather magnanimous to the public but is a rather despicable man willing to cut corners or make shady deals. Hanleng despises Xueye, thinking his unique appearance makes him cursed. Often he tends to take out his frustrations on Xueye.

A scheming young lady of the Elian Royal family. She has no direct royal claim being a cousin of the main family. She wants nothing more than to marry someone from the Empire in hopes of trying to gain power and influence. She comes across as warm and gentle but is wickedly cruel and selfish.

Twin brother to Korina, usually acts as her knight but is very much a part of her schemes. He’s very loyal to her despite all her wrong doings. He’s usually quiet but gets very passionate when trying to defend his sister.

Jinse is a fox divine beast with a pension for mischief but it’s more in good fun rather than harmful intentions. On the surface he’s usually a shameless flirt and overly confident, however when it boils down to it, he’s very sweet and helpful to Xueye and those that matter to Xueye. He’s very much in love with Xueye. He’s been secretly a guardian to the Meigui family for generations.
