Personality
Erik on the surface is overconfident, carefree, and a bit of a flirt. He does not show his true feelings very easily, rarely speaking about himself. He avoids talking about his past often dodging questions and diverting attention away from himself. Despite being wanted in all the countries on Mysteria he's not a criminal without a code, he's rather against killing others and is especially protective of Spirits. He has such a soft spot for Spirits that he always feels more comfertable around them than humans. He'll go out of his way to protect any Spirit even at his own detriment.
Bio
Erik is a notorius theif wanted in every country across Mysteria. While his past is normally a well guarded secret, he was formerly a Druid of The Order that vanished the night the Hode Family residence was attacked by a Demon and set ablaze. After escaping with Lios, Lios summoned the last of his energy to forge a sword for Erik using Ash's Final Rune as it's center piece. He then tasked Erik with responsibility of finding Zephyr and Aliya to tell them what had happened. Erik eventually ran into Zephyr but after spending time with him couldn't bring himself to tell Zephyr what happened that night. After a couple years of drunken revelry and mischief, one such drunken night Zephyr let it slip that he was conflicted about a promise he made that involved killing someone dear to him with Regulus, saying it was the only tool that could do the job. Erik tricked him into a bet that he knew he could win with Regulus as it's wager. Erik won and took off that night with it doing his best to run from Zephyr for the better part of a year. He had breifly started taking work from Blacksong but he quickly realized they weren't what the stories made them out to be. Unfortunately for him it was too late, Mistral managed to find out that he was related to The Order. She blackmailed him to continue their contracts until he finally got fed up and made a deal with Princess Claudia when she caught him infiltrating the Research Facility, turing Blacksong in exchange for his fredom.
Trivia
Erik's pendant was passed down his family from when Aliya gave it to Elisa Hode as a sign of forgiveness. He's never had the heart to get rid of it or return it.
Erik refuses to part with his sword, anything he swears upon his blade he fully intends to keep.
